Armadale
Armadale delivers qualifications in business and information technology, community services, childcare and education support.
The Armadale Campus is the most southerly of all of SM TAFE's six major campuses. In addition to the main campus, there is a small annex in the centre of Armadale.
This campus is home to our Adult Migrant English Program. For more information visit the AMEP page.
Facilities
Students at our Armadale Campus can access SM TAFE’s library services remotely. Please speak to the customer service staff at Armadale or ring Thornlie campus library for more information.

Armadale campus features one of the state's Jobs and Skills Centres, where free career development advice and job opportunities can be explored by students and the general public. The Armadale Jobs and Skills Centre is located at 145 Jull Street, Armadale WA 6112.

Smart Travel
We recommend all visitors to campuses take advantage of our Smart Travel information to ease congestion on and around our campuses.
Parking
Designated student parking bays are available at the 40 Commerce Avenue location. Additional parking is available on Green Street located across the road from our main campus building. The annexe to the Armadale campus of South Metropolitan TAFE, at 45 Commerce Avenue is across the road from the main campus and offers parking for students with classes situated there.
Public transport
Armadale campus enjoys bus services connecting Commercial Avenue to train and further bus services. Visit Transperth's Journey Planner(opens in a new tab) , using South Metropolitan TAFE Armadale campus as a landmark to plan your trip or collect a timetable from the Customer Service Centre on campus.

The course availability at Bentley campus has been revamped and now offers students with greater flexibility.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
An expanding sector for those with a passion for the care and education of children up to the age of five.
Early Childhood Education and Care is an expanding sector for those with a passion for the care and education of young children up to the age of 5 years. The sector is demanding higher qualifications and training from educators to ensure consistently high standards of education and care for children placed in these services. This can be achieved by completing the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Financial counsellors help people to manage their finances and understand credit and debt issues as well as their rights and obligations. To be able to operate in Australia as a financial counsellor, you must have this qualification.
SM TAFE is the only registered training organisation in WA to deliver this course face-to-face, allowing more people to utilise this important service while the WA economy recovers.  It also provides a solid understanding of social and systemic issues that impact on financial counselling clients.
Many charitable organisations seek to employ people who can provide these specialist financial support services and those already working in the community services sector will also benefit from being able to provide financial counselling to help people regain control of their lives.
