Create large-scale floristry designs and work alongside WA's top professional floral designers. Work on large scale designs for some of Perth top events and gain real hands-on experience!

When you complete the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising at Bentley, you’re ready to work as a fashion designer, product developer, production manager, CAD operator, CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) operator, distribution coordinator, fashion/ textile and colour forecaster, garment finisher, pattern grader/maker, production consultant, or specialised construction machinist.
The Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising course is the final year of three years of fashion study. Culminating in a professional showcase of student collections at an industry-attended fashion show, this course covers every aspect of a fashion cycle. Students and staff work together to build a graduate portfolio and professional profile to prepare graduates for employment.

Do you want to have a career in a fashion business environment? The Fashion Business and Merchandising pathway at Bentley immerses you in creative fashion business skills such as fashion forecasting and buying; visual merchandising and digital engagement; and marketing and social media.
You will learn the legal, financing and trade essentials for fashion enterprise and the import and export of product.
Course topics include:
- international fashion sourcing;
- sustainable supply and manufacturing;
- creation of accurate costings
- tech packs for managing offshore production.
When you complete the Diploma in Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising (Business and Merchandising Pathway) at Bentley, you’re ready to work as an Assistant Buyer, Assistant Visual Merchandiser; Social Media Creator; Assistant Product Developer; Fashion Influencer/Stylist; or Fashion Business Owner in retail or e-commerce.
This course includes an internship component in a fashion business environment.

Do you have creative flair and an eye for detail? This floristry qualification will set you on the path to becoming a 'budding' leader in floral design work.
We teach you more than just about the flowers, once you have mastered the basic commercial skills, we show you how to execute custom-made, cutting-edge, large and small scale design briefs.
Our lecturers have a wealth of industry experience, a passion for flowers and offer a supportive training environment for you to gain a National Qualification, and expose you to the exciting industry of professional floristry.
Some of the skills you'll learn in Certificate III in Floristry include:
- Designing, constructing and selling a diverse range of floristry products.
- Developing practical construction and technique skills
- A comprehensive knowledge of the key tools for floral design and the elements and principles.
- Working in a live environment to develop your speed of construction.
