Intro to Virtual 3D Fashion

Learn to use CLO3D, 3D Fashion software, to create virtual true-to life garment visualisation. This software will make it easy to fine-tune the fit of your designs before creating physical garments, minimising waste and time.
Introduction to Millinery Course
Learn the art of millinery to make hats using wool felt with this specialist skill set
Delivered at:
During this 4 week “Introduction to Millinery” course you will learn how to block, shape, and manipulate sinamay straw.
You will learn the basics of couture hat making:
- How to stiffen, steam and stretch felt over a wooden block
- How to wire a hat to ensure it holds its shape
- How to attach a hat using wire, headband, combs, and elastics
- How to use materials in an efficient and economical way
- After blocking a hat, you will proceed onto trimming and decorating
- All students will complete one hats to take away.
All students will gain invaluable millinery skills, allowing them to make hats on their own.
