SM TAFE students announced as finalists for 2023 WA Training Awards

South Metropolitan TAFE is excited to have five students announced as finalists in the 2023 WA Training Awards. 

These students have been selected in recognition of their outstanding efforts and achievements in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

Our Defence Industry Pathways Program is also a finalist for the Industry Collaboration Award, recognised for its innovative industry collaboration. 

The WA Training Awards are held annually and is WA's premier VET awards program. The WA Training Awards recognise excellence in vocational education and training and the outstanding achievements of our VET students, apprentices and trainees, practitioners and training providers, organisations and employers.

Individual winners will each receive $3,000 to further their training or to kick-start their careers, and organisation winners gain recognition as industry leaders.

The winners will be announced at a presentation ceremony on 14 September 2023 and may go on to represent WA at the Australian Training Awards in November 2023.
