Networking and Security

The fields of networking and cyber security are constantly evolving and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies is critical for business success. A career in networking and cyber security is exciting and fast-paced, but also highly lucrative as you solve system problems with innovative solutions.

Our courses will see you planning, installing and maintaining computer networks as well as building internet and intranet infrastructure. Learn about artificial intelligence, cloud security, Internet of Things (IoT) security and DevSecOps, the integration of security into the development and operations processes.

As members of the TAFECyber Consortium, our students have access to various cyber security events, competitions and courses that are developed and collaborated on with TAFE organisations across Australia. Events are organised with industry experts to provide students with networking opportunities and practice hands-on skills.

As the talent shortage for cybersecurity professionals continues to grow as fast as the emerging technologies, so do the opportunities for qualified workers. The skills shortage has also seen salaries continue to rise. Explore the courses where you can grow your technical, analytical, communications, problem-solving and ethical hacking skills.
