Applied Engineering Drawing and CAD Skill Set

This skill set is part of the MEM50212 Diploma of Engineering - Technical, a nationally recognised qualification. You will gain experience in producing industry standard 2D and 3D Engineering Drawings and gain a working knowledge of appropriate standards while learning Autodesk’s AutoCAD drafting system. Learn how to produce fully parametric 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk’s Inventor software.

This course requires approximately 6 to 8 hours a week online study using our a Blackboard Learning Management System coupled with an additional 3 hours a week expected attendance at campus for workshops.

This course is aimed at those who may be interested in gaining the necessary skills needed for entry into an Engineering career, that are looking at upskilling in their current position or from post trade, prospective entrepreneurs, that are looking at gaining formal qualification or those that would just like to learn how to use the software for their own personal projects.

This course is available for study starting term 1 and term 3 in 2020 with a mix of online study and attendance at Munster campus for workshops.
