13th Brigade is the Army’s formation in Western Australia. It offers part-time employment opportunities for SM TAFE students in the fields of engineering, trades, catering, logistics, medical and combat roles. The brigade supports operations both overseas and domestically including aiding the WA community in its response and recovery from natural disasters including bushfires, floods and cyclones.
As well as participating in operations, opportunities exist for students to complete training in their field of interest and be recognised for the qualifications they have whilst earning tax free pay. By taking up one of the positions in 13th Brigade, students can enhance their skill set for future employment and give back to the WA community.
