New elective options for Foundation studies courses

The 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults has had a refresh and now gives students the opportunity to kickstart their careers in the aviation, construction or hospitality industries.

When studying at our Thornlie or Armadale campuses, students can choose from new electives including cabin crew, construction, barista or general. 

These electives are delivered in conjunction with the 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults core units to ensure students learn all the vital education skills needed to enter the workforce.  

The 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults is approximately equivalent to Year 10 for the purposes of applying for a TAFE course and will meet the entry requirements for most Certificate II, III or IV level TAFE courses.

This course is delivered over three days, Tuesday to Thursday, with your chosen electives delivered on Wednesdays.

Barista electives

By studying the barista electives (delivered at Bentley Campus) with the 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults you will gain the skills to kickstart a career in hospitality. 

Cabin crew electives

By studying the cabin crew electives (delivered at Jandakot Campus) with the 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults you will gain the skills to kickstart a career in the aviation industry. 

Construction electives

By studying the construction electives with the 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults you will gain the skills to kickstart a career in the construction industry. 

General electives

By studying the general electives of the 22473VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults you will meet the entry requirements for most Certificate II, III or IV level TAFE courses.
