GMDSS COC skill set
This accredited GMDSS COC course meets national and international standards, complying with Marine Orders Part 6 (AMSA). Mandatory for bridge watchkeepers of vessels over 300 gross tonnes, it blends theory, practical exercises, and simulations.
Delivered by experienced, qualified lecturers, it earns you the GMDSS Radio Operators certificate (STCW Code Table A-IV/2) upon completion. AMSA-approved and annually audited for your maritime career advancement.

This is a fully accredited course of study and instruction for the GMDSS General Operators Certificate (GMDSS COC), complying with National and International Standards. Our course meets the requirements of Marine Orders Part 6 (AMSA), is fully accredited by AMSA and audited annually.
The GMDSS COC is a statutory requirement for bridge watchkeepers of sea going vessels over 300 gross tonnes, and for all persons involved in the operation of live GMDSS equipment. This course is structured on a combination of theory and practical exercises using both ‘live to air’ equipment and simulations. It is delivered by fully qualified and accredited lecturers with deck officer or radio officer experience.
This course is approved by AMSA for the issuance of the following certificate upon successful completion of the course:
