The Electrical Trade Revision course is for 4th year apprentices. The aim of the course is to provide apprentices the opportunity to review and revise the electrical principles and essential performance criteria they have covered in the past 4 years.
The following subjects are covered:
- Technical Standards
- Installation testing and isolation procedures
- Maximum demand
- Cable selection
- Circuit protection
- Appliance testing
- Electrical theory
Attendance in class
This course is equivalent to 2 days across one week from 8am - 3.30pm.
Work placement
Work placement is not a requirement of this course.
What you need for your first day of class
On your first day you should bring your SM TAFE confirmation enrolment receipt, your student ID, stationery (a pen and notepad and wear enclosed footwear and equipment from orientation booklet lists). An Electrical Training Licence is required.
