Be guided by our team of lecturers who are experienced commissioning technicians as you learn how to install refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and work with today's computer controlled HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems. A comprehensive training program covers AHU’s (Air Handling Units), VAVs (Variable Air Volume systems), Chillers, Cooling Towers and ancillary equipment. You'll learn your way around a Building Management System and gain knowledge of air balance, water balance and how to fully install, commission and optimise a VAV-AHU.

The course incorporates working with the latest computing technologies, performing engineering measurements and working with domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems, commercial/industrial refrigeration systems and commercial aircon systems.

This is a nationally recognised qualification that will make you job ready for supervisory roles such as HVAC Site Supervisor and HVAC Commissioning Technician, or Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic.

This course is FREE from 1 January 2023. The course fees are 100 per cent subsidised by the WA State Government for WA residents.
