Newmont Australia

Newmont Boddington Gold (NBG) is offering $500 study costs scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in South Metropolitan TAFE courses.

SM TAFE and the Peel Jobs and Skills Centre  can assist applicants to complete the application form and forward applications to Newmont Boddington Gold for selection for the annual scholarship.

DIVES

Funded by the State Government and supported by the WA defence industry, the Defence Industry Veterans Employment (DIVES) Scholarship Program provides 80 scholarships of up to $5,000 to eligible veterans.

BHP

Delivered in partnership with BHP, the Maintenance Associate - Diversity Pathway Program (DPP) provides indigenous and/or female participants with the skills required to gain employment in Western Australia’s resources industry.

Women in Defence

Delivered in partnership with industry, the Women in Defence Industry Scholarship provides 6 months of free technical engineering and electronics training. Applications generally open around October/Nov for semester 1.

Women in Engineering

Delivered in partnership with Chevron, the Women in Engineering Scholarship provides 20 weeks of valuable foundation skills for gaining employment in Western Australia's oil and gas, and resources industry. 14 fully funded scholarships are available to women of all ages and backgrounds. Applications open around April each year.

DIIGS

Delivered through a collaboration between Programmed Training Services and Defence Industry employers, the Defence Industry Internship and Graduate Scholarship Program (DIIGS) is designed to ensure a pipeline of skilled professional and para-professional workers in WA's defence industry. Applications are open year round.
