This course meets the requirements of AS1796-2001 Certificate 10 Weld Supervisor and MEM05024B – Perform Weld Supervision

Entry requirements: 
Candidates must meet any pre-requisite requirements of MEM05024B – Perform Weld Supervision and also meet AS1796-2001 section 3 pre-examination requirements

• Hold a welder certificate complying with AS1796-2001
• Have sufficient experience welding pressure equipment as defined by AS/NZS 1200 
• Have verbal and written communication skills and be able to write reports.

The course includes training and assessment needed to meet the requirements of Paper A and Paper B as required by the standard

  • Paper A – Welding Theory and Technology
  • Paper B – Application of Standards
