Certificate Of Safety Training (Also Known As STCW95)

State ID: MARSS00007

The Certificate of Safety Training is an STCW95 AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) approved training course which qualifies holders of the certificate to work on vessels in Australian and International waters. This course meets the requirements of STCW as revised by Manila Amendments 2010, and is AMSA approved.

It is ideal for those wanting to improve safety, or to work on vessels in Australian and international waters.

The Certificate of Safety Training is made up of (5) components - as follows. Please note that we only conduct the first 4 units here, and not the first aid component. Senior First Aid will therefore need to be done separately.

  • MARF008 Prevent and fight fires on board a vessel - State ID WH836

  • MARF009 Survive at sea in the event of vessel abandonment - State ID WH837
  • MARF003 Follow vessel security procedures - State ID WH831
  • Elementary First Aid (equivalent to Senior First Aid)

Please Note:
