Core Requirements
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene
- Ability to follow and maintain safe food handling standards and procedures
- Capability to lift and move furniture according to table plans and equipment following WHS practices.
- Capability to balance and safely carry multiple plates
- Flexibility to bend, reach, and move around the restaurant, kitchen and bar quickly and safely
- Able to stand for long periods, often in a hot and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Numeracy skills for calculating customer bills and orders
- Able to read recipes and measure ingredients,
- Able to clearly communicate (verbal and written) with team members, supervisors, and customers
- Able to understand and receive instructions, constructive feedback, and customer requests
- Willingness to serve a range of alcohol, meats, poultry and seafood
- Computer skills to utilise online learning platform, Blackboard
- Safely handle and prepare dishes containing nuts and other common allergens
