The evolving landscape of work and the swift integration of workplace technologies are reshaping business skill requirements. Employers seek a workforce proficient in digital literacy, equipped with both technical expertise and interpersonal abilities. Employers need training partners who can address emerging skill gaps and swiftly provide industry-specific training solutions to maintain competitiveness on local and global scales.
SM TAFE will partner with you to understand how bespoke training will fit your needs. We provide relevant and practical training solutions to maximise your training return on investment.
Types of training available
Training options are varied depending on your needs. They can be offered as either accredited or non-accredited training, or a specific skill set or industry short course (often referred to as microcredentials).
- Accredited training will lead to a vocational qualification or a formal qualification/award that is nationally recognised. This includes a full certificate course or selected course modules.
- Non-accredited training refers to an industry short course, specific skill set or micro-credential. There is no formal assessment. Training can be for specific technical skill sets or soft skills training and highly customised to client needs.
We have numerous industry short courses available to upskill or reskill your staff. We can provide courses on an individual basis or as a skill set, plus you can stack courses as a pathway to full certification.
In addition to training, SM TAFE can also complete a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of the learning and development needs within your business or organisation. We’ll work with you to map out the knowledge, skills and behaviours that your team needs and how we can develop them effectively.
