Applicants must hold a G Class gas permit from Energy Safety WA
This course will train and assess students in the skills and knowledge required to competently service Type A gas appliances.
Students completing this course can apply to Energy Safety WAÂ to have 'Servicing' endorsed on their G Class permit.
Students will need to conduct self-directed computer based training using Blackboard.

- combustion characteristics and effectsÂ

- job safety analysis (JSA) and safe work method statements (SWMS)Â
- operation of flame failure systems used in Type A gas appliances
