Microsoft SC-900-MSCIF-Exam Preparation

The SC-900 certification is targeted to those looking to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of security, compliance, and identity (SCI) across cloud-based and related Microsoft services.

This course is suited to all IT workers, including a broad audience that may include business stakeholders, new or existing IT professionals, or students who have an interest in Microsoft security, compliance, and identity solutions.

Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 and want to understand how Microsoft security, compliance, and identity solutions can span across these solution areas to provide a holistic and end-to-end solution.

Students who complete this course will be prepared to take the SC-900 exam at an external testing centre.

Attendance in class

This course is equivalent to 1 evening per week across five weeks.

At-home study

As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete 25% extra of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, lab practice, and research.

You will need to have the basic technical requirements for at-home study. If you don’t have access to a computer and WiFi at home, we recommend using our library computers during library hours.

Work placement

There is no work placement required for this course.

What you need for your first day of class

On your first day you should bring your SM TAFE confirmation enrolment receipt, your student ID, stationery (pen, exercise book, and USB).

In addition, the following uniform is required to be worn at all classes:

  • Normal business/computing office attire applies.
