When you complete the Certificate IV in Screen and Media you will have what it takes for a career as a multimedia specialist, web developer, or digital content manager.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to comfortably wield a wide range of digital technologies, animation, graphics, multimedia, web, interactive media, visual effects and digital art, using our state of the art facilities.

You will acquire valuable experience in making presentation to groups, in working in effective teams, and gain workplace health and safety knowledge.

Fast Track: Students who meet the entrance requirements for the Diploma, but who may need to build lower level skills, may complete the Certificate IV foundation skill set. This skill set consists of only the essential units from the Certificate IV, done over one term, which then leads into a three term Diploma. Ask us about this exciting option.

The Centre for IT Excellence (CITE) provides state of the art, industry relevant training in information technology, creative media and electronics. We provide pathways from foundation studies to advanced diploma with specialist training in cyber security, systems and programming.

SM TAFE actively promotes the employment availability of course graduates to key industry partners and organisations. We also seek expressions of interest from organisations for the placement of our students into work experience.
