Are you looking for an electronics career and current skills?
When you complete the Certificate II in Data and Voice Communications you'll be flicking the switch on a career in electronics, as a data cabler or telecommunications technician (with additional training).
You will gain the following knowledge and practical skills:
- install and maintain telecommunication cabling
- secure electrotechnological equipment
- assemble and dismantle components
- use cabling drawings
- understand standards, codes and specifications and
- workplace health and safety
It includes ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) requirements for open cabler registration.
