Basic Combustion, Flueing and Exhaust Principles

The Gas Legislation and Safety course comprises three modules (Gas Standards Legislation, Gas Safety and  Basic Combustion, Fluing and Exhaust Principles), and two parts - Learning and Test

Learning is available online or on a face to face basis (whichever is most suitable for the individuals’ needs) and this ends with the test that is mandated by Energy Safety, the State regulator.

Learning
The online course is available to anyone who enrols and is self-paced, auto-marked and successful completion produces a letter for the student to bring to us, which enables them to take the test. The face to face course is available to anyone who enrols and is run from Rockingham campus on any Tuesday during teaching weeks only. Successful completion of the course enables the student to take the test.

Test 
The test can only be conducted on a face to face basis (Not available online) and is available from Rockingham campus on any Wednesday during teaching weeks only. Successful completion of the test enables students to apply for their restricted Class G permit through Energy Safety.
