Advance your skills in the community services or health industry by gaining the skills to offer assistance to clients requiring medication.  This skill set will improve your confidence and ability in a range of community, residential and heath-care settings. 

You must already be working in a patient support position or working as a carer in the community service sector. This skill set has been endorsed by industry for people who hold a Certificate III qualification or higher in an area that involves providing direct support or care to patients.

This skills set provides you with the ethical and legislative knowledge to assist clients with medication as well as an understanding of the body in a health care setting.  On completion of this skill set you will be qualified to assist clients with medication in residential, community and health care settings.
