AMPA Master Under 24m External

This course is for people wanting to Master on commercial vessels less than 24 metres.

The National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV) Part D—Crew Competencies requires that a seafarer pass a final assessment prior to the issue of a certificate of competency. 

The AMPA is the practical assessment of the appropriate operational skills and knowledge, and knowledge of Australian maritime legislation.

2020 Dates:

This course runs for 1.5 days on the following dates.

  • Term 4, starts 23 November
  • Term 4, starts 7 December

2021 Dates:

  • Term 1, starts 8 March
  • Term 2, starts 21 June
  • Term 3, starts 30 August
  • Term 4, starts 6 December
