When you complete the Certificate III in Education Support you'll be on your way to a career as an education assistant, Aboriginal and Islander education officer, or community education assistant.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the education sector, up to year 10, supporting the development of literacy and numeracy, understanding legal, policy and administrative requirements, supporting and understanding students with additional needs, first aid, working with cultural diversity, and workplace health and safety.

For online study, this is not a fully online course as students are required to do a work placement at a school in SMTAFE"s vicinity so the lecturer can visit.
